About this focused free tool

Keep the angle.
Clarify the notation.

Coordnote converts one known latitude/longitude pair between signed decimal degrees and explicit-hemisphere degrees, minutes and seconds.

A transparent format conversion

The calculator preserves exact rational angle magnitudes and sign/hemisphere provenance through format-only switches. Display rounding is identified, with normalized DMS carry. The original worked guide covers near-zero signs, exact-zero tags, angle endpoints and why a notation change does not improve positional accuracy.

Coordnote does not locate you, look up a place, display a map, transform a datum or projection, identify WGS84, or calculate a distance or altitude. It accepts each axis separately and uses a stated positive-east longitude convention. The prefilled angles are illustrative only.

Free and browser local

No payment, account or conversation is required. Calculation and local report generation run in the browser. This prepared release has no active advertising, analytics or consent scripts. Publisher metadata and ads.txt prepare for possible later exact-host setup, without establishing approval, serving or income.

Shared portfolio contact

Coordnote is part of the independent free-tool portfolio that includes Yardfill. Its existing verified shared forwarding contact is transparently reused; no separate Coordnote mailbox is represented as created. Read Privacy for inputs, ordinary hosting records and correspondence.
